Odd Nosdam - This Is My Element

Just realized that the acronym is "o.n.t.i.m.e."

But yeah, Odd Nosdam did the soundtrack to the Element skate video "This Is My Element." It's awesome and you don't have to know which foot to push with and which foot to keep on the board in order to enjoy it, because I think 99% of humans try and keep their back foot on the board and then push with their front foot and end up looking like a god-damned pussy. Girls do this especially

Sounds like: El-P's instrumentals for The Cold Vein with some of Tobacco's grungy tape noise effects, with Tycho's ambient recording stuff thrown behind the beat. And sprinkle on some fucked up guitars a la Burn Piano Island for good measure

Blur - 13

Best album ever maybe

You think you know what Blur sounds like? Thinking Song 2? Oh yes, my friend, that's it. Fucking Sike. Ambi-acoustic to hard fuzzy guitars and distorted drums and all the while Albarn going carazay

Sounds like: if Radiohead had balls

*Not sure why exactly the file size is so small, I'll try and up a higher def one but in the mean time I guess fast download is fast

Crystal Castles Rarities

Like diamonds tumbling from an arabian beard, these are the Crystal Castles songs that aren't on their self-titled album.

There are actually two main slices in this, metaphorical if you will, pie. The first is the unreleased stuff, demos and so on and so on:

THRASH THRASH THRASH:

Chess Mess
February
Rot
She Fell Out
Dolls
Insecticon*
No Skin
Tuesday
Untrust Us (original)
Bitter Hearts
Black Fag
Too Young Too Black To Live
Mother Knows Best
Cry Babies

Then there's all the remixes that Kath's done for various folks. Didn't include the HEALTH stuff because hope to god you have that already. This stuff actually comprises the "Remixed Rewired" compilation plus a couple other treat bag treats. Also included my own mashup of "Magic Spells" with Bruce Cockburn's "Maybe the Poet" yeah yeah:

REMIXED REWIRED:

Hunting for Witches (vs Bloc Party)
Leni (vs Goodbooks)
Atlantis to Interzone (vs Klaxons.... slower version)
It Fit When I Was A Kid (vs Liars)
Trash The Rental (vs Sohodolls)
Lovers Who Uncover (vs The Little Ones)
Divebomb (vs The Whip)
Make It Hott (vs Uffie)
Death (vs White Lies)
Woman Who Can Touch You Where You're Human (vs Cockburn)

///YOU WILL ALL DOWNLOAD EACH OTHER///

*this song? good god. you know that movie 2012? with all the groundsplitting, earthshaking so on and so on? this song actually plays over all those scenes. no other dialogue or sound effects

**didn't include the popular fan-made halycon because it sucks dick

***some of the id3 tags ain't perfect right but you can fix

RSD - Over It, Forward Youth

A good old grime-in-time dubstep 2side for good old family fun around the spindle and butter churner. If I remember correctly, RSD stands for Red Smash Dog

Speaking of which I'm planning on making a cd with just sounds from Smash Bros. Melee, so taking the body hits and kick sounds and stuff and making beats from that

But that's neither here nor there

Anyway, RSD. Sounds like you're in the middle of a mugging in a Bristol back alley, you're the perp, and midway through punching the woman in the face, the man is on the ground, you remember how as a child you use to love thunderstorms. The fist pauses midswing. Smoke on the rooftop of a high rise in the winter. Download it

Take - Earthtones & Concrete

Take puts out some solid shit. Instrumentals without too much of that fairy tale shit. This isn't new but.

Take - Earthtones & Concrete (2007)

Sounds like: Mark Pritchard sinescapes fused with edIT's glitchamatronics and a healthy dose of Blockhead's jazz sampling circa Daylight. Some of the more ambient tracks point to Tycho though

Red Ants - Dirty Space Alchemy

Is this video trip or is this video trip

Soiled Doves - Soiled Life

How many awesome hobby bands was Johnny Whitney involved in that we don't even know about yet? Archaeologists will still be unearthing them years from now. It's no The Vogue, but

Soiled Doves - Soiled Life

Sounds like: Jaguar Love menos el pop

Spacemonkeyz vs. Gorillaz - Laika Come Home

From the vasty halls of dubstep and post-reggae, whatever those labels mean, issued forth Laika Come Home, a remix of The Gorillaz' self titled album by Spacemonkeyz. It was and is fucking phenomenal

Fe No Me Nal. There are one or two songs that waver on the verge of being only slightly too reggaeish, but the whole entire rest of the album blows that concern clear from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, where it is then caught up in the Gulf Coast Stream and carried to the Arctic Ocean

Sounds like: A young Harmonic 313 getting fucked in the backseat of her Camaro by some old school Blockhead beats while listening to Shpongle on the woofy car stereo system

HORSE The Band - Desperate Living

HORSE the Band's latest cd is called "Desperate Living." Recession times, breah

If you weren't hip to the rhetorical scheme in time to appreciate A Natural Death during the zenith of its celestial ascent, downloade this now ye mortal warriore and redeeme thine soule

Sounds like: Gorillas and squids battling for supremacy in space long after the last human being died. A lone gorilla sergeant stumbles across one of Earth's forgotten battlefields on the dark side of Jupiter's ugliest moon, where the gorilla corps are encouraged to take respite away from the pressing tides of combat with the squids in the fifth dimension. Looking down, he kicks at the rotting skeleton of a man leaking out of a broken space suit, and growls, "Human goals are like the numbers plumbed from the pipes of life."

Cinnamon Chasers - The Elements

Cinnamon Chasers came out with a new 6-track EP, "The Elements."

His first cd was "A Million Miles from Home" and it stomped ass across the galaxy and back. His music is sort of like a spaceman who goes crazy and kills a ton of people and hijacks the last spaceship in the universe in order to travel back to earth and look at starfish in summer tidepools. Too bad the video for "Modern Love" sucks

I may re-up if that one dissolves though

death

A complete work in progress.

Death is an album to honor the memory of the death gods of ancient Egypt in the future --- download it now in its incomplete state, and you may just win the chance to earn the sex you know you want to deserve.

20 or 30 minutes in length, electro thrashulous in persuasion. Instrumental version right now. Vocals are coming.
